When one door closes, another one opens. That’s something that holds true, even in SL! I relinquished my reigns at Shadow Realm. I am no longer a DJ or manager there. I did not make the decision lightly. I hated leaving something I had worked so hard to continue to build, but I finally found someone I absolutely could NOT work with. Someone who thought they could bully the staff into paying attention and respecting them. They need to learn that is not how you do it. When everything out of your mouth is bitchy or mean (or even fake-nice!), you’re doing it WRONG. When you are “management” and you’re TPing people out of Shadow and into the OTHER club you work(despite the fact there’s a live DJ working their ass off and you just took half their VIPs for your own selfishness), you’re doing it WRONG. Simply saying “Sorry, but they don’t have to take the TP.” Is fucking doing it WRONG. I have never, ever disliked someone in SL quite as much as I dislike this individual. I have never met someone with a worse “management” style than this person. You can’t rule by humiliation and disdain. You’re doing it very, VERY wrong… and you will lose people for it. Save your power trip. Your close friendship with the owner aside, you have a LOT to learn.

Now, enough with that unpleasantness! I am over it and looking toward the future. I have whittled my jobs from 3 to 2… and now only 1! I’m still dancing (and occasionally DJing) at Hooters! Lol. I’m going to be giddy about this for a bit. I have something lurking on the horizon which will get me busy again, but for now, it’s a ways off, and I’m enjoying the lack of obligation SL holds for me. (Until I take up new obligations, of course.)

Regardless, and sorry for the downer tone to this blog, I am happy with where I am right now.

Hey everyone!!!! Miss me? Oh, I know, I know. But here I am again!

So… you guys have heard me talk about the neko phenomenon/subculture in SL before… and I have met many that I like very much. I don’t think putting on a tail and ears changes who you are, and most nekos I’ve met aren’t doing any rp with it, they just think it looks cool. I think the ears and tail are cute, too, in some cases. I <3 my neko friends!! I have had ears and a tail in my inventory for a while now, due to an event at Hooters. It’s pretty, but I’d always wanted one that would allow people to touch it. So… this weekend, I picked up a HELLA cute tail with a bow at the base. I also got some ears with little bows on them. Omg, the cutest thing in the world. No, yours truly has not gone neko, but I admit to thinking this set of ears/tail is awfully cute on my avi!! (It’s Urban Dare if anyone is wondering!)

Now, that aside, a lot of people have been asking me where I get some of my clothes/skins/shoes. I do feel obligated to my fellow shop-a-holics to cough up the info! I’m doing it here so I can refer to it if anyone else asks. J We’ll start at the base:

Skins!: Belleza, Redgrave, and Beauty Avatar. I wore Beauty Avatar for a very long time, but now my main skin is Redgrave. For the Belleza skins, I had to tweak my avi’s lips *very* slightly so I felt it looked right. (Side note: My shape is my creation, so I didn’t buy it. In this, I prefer to be original, so I’m not giving that info out.)

Shoes!: Kitties Lair has excellent heels and boots. I love her ankle boots! I also have a pair of silver peep-toes that are cool. She ALSO has awesome legwarmers. If you’re asking for my advice on where to purchase those, I would say KL hands down!

For tennis shoes, you really can’t go wrong with Detour. They have every kind you could need.

However, for the end-all, be-all stop for heels, boots, and sandals… Stiletto Moody is the best place in all of SL. But this quality comes with a price! Bring your SL wallets.

Clothes!: Different places have different things of awesomeness, so there is a need for sub-categories here!

Jeans: For standard hip-huggers, Beauty Avatar has a great selection. If you want something a bit more punk, go with NEO.  

Khakis: I found Redgrave has great khakis. The issue with those is that they don’t copy… so making outfits with them is difficult.

Dresses: Beauty Avatar and Armidi have the nicest I’ve seen. If you’re looking for quirky, you can find it at Mimikri.

Punk/Steampunk: Action, NEO (awesome t-shirts and cool skirts), Dirty Lynx, Wrong, Ducknipple (not kidding!), and League. I have a lot of stuff from each of these places. I really REALLY like League for Steampunk.. but she has a lot of really cool things.

General Items(places with all-around goodies!): Argrace (SO cool!!), Beauty Avatar, Armidi, and Kitties Lair.

Costumes: Deviance. Hands down, this is the coolest place I’ve found for costumes. They don’t have everything, but they have quite a bit. If they don’t have it, I check SLexchange.

HAIR!: My most potent obsession… Deviant Kitties (DK), Truth, Armidi, Damselfly, Cake, Analog Dog, and… drumroll, please… MAGIKA! Honestly, Magika has so much awesome hair that I can buy something every time I go… which is about once a week. I didn’t find this stuff until relatively recently. I have a habit of seeing something I like and inspecting it, or asking the person where they got it. In this case, my friend Elle had some really fun hair on, so I inspected it and the rest is history. I’m rarely in anything but Magika now. There are too many cool styles not to find several you like! I love DK hair, I think the creator of DK hair is very VERY talented.. and there are some things she’s done that just can’t be mimicked, BUT I’d say Magika one-ups her.

If you’re interested in any LMs for these places, I think I have them all. J Catch me in-game and I’ll hand it over.

So… I want to address another specific person I’ve run across in my SL travels. He is the Imaginary Pimp. This is the dude who can throw a couple of songs in their player and connect to a stream, and think he’s the greatest DJ alive. This is the guy who doesn’t talk on the mic, can’t type a coherent sentence, and hits on every girl who walks into the club, looking for his one true love. L2bfriends, dewd.

This guy hides behind his perfect and handsome avi (yawn), but doesn’t have the attitude to pull it off. He’s the King of Lame Gestures (the ones that hump random chicks and call them sexy, freaky baby girls…) and bad clichés (such as: lead me not into temptation, I can find it myself).  He’s the guy who requests the same song for every girl he’s ever hoped to get with, and when he DOES find someone willing to be with him, he requests every romantic song he can think of for them. King of all Poseballs… he’s got every position known to SL. He’s the guy who tries to emote and leaves you saying “Wtf is he talking about?”. He comes up with witticisms such as… “Ain’t nothing to it but to do it.” Again.. wtf? Can you imagine trying to have a normal conversation with someone like that? He’s about as smooth as a golf ball…

It’s not that hard to be a pimp, I think. –But if you’re going to try it, get your game together first. You have to be able to back up your pimp-ful ways. Otherwise, you’re not a pimp, you’re a dork.

Hello, beautiful people! I am, indeed, alive. ;) I’m sure it’s been in question. We had a really bad ice storm around here, and I lost my internet. (DAMNIT!) Fortunately, I did not lost my power… but that doesn’t make it less boring, just more comfortable. I’m grateful, of course, but being snowed in isn’t nearly as much fun without internet. Lol. I was finally able to make it into work today (Friday), but I don’t know when my internet will be back up. Sorry, guys, if you miss me… and I KNOW you do! I will be back around as soon as possible! –Because yeah, I miss you guys, too.  (Incidentally, I just heard that my cable is back up… so you may see me before you read this, even!)

So what have I been doing stuck inside in lieu of SL? Um.. I watched a few movies I’ve already seen a hundred times. –Mostly chick flicks. (Jane Austen movies, for the most part) I came to the sad realization that my DVD collection is sorely lacking in scary movies. For some reason, that’s what I wanted to watch while stuck in my home… that’s probably weird, huh? Eh, consider the source. *shrug* I’ve also scrubbed my home clean. It’s funny how motivated you get to clean when you’ve got pent up energy and cabin fever. Going outside wasn’t the smartest thing because the trees are dropping branches like crazy, and I didn’t want one to fall on me. Heh.

The BEST part of having the desire to scrub everything down was that my mom has come stay with me due to her power being out. (Sheesh, for some reason, she doesn’t want to hang in a 40 degree house. Psht!) So… I didn’t have to do the “mad dash” of cleaning before she got there and she was so impressed by how “nice and homey” my place looked. Mwahaha. Hey, I even cooked us salmon for dinner. Now, don’t get me wrong… I love my mom a lot. I think she’s great. However, as her daughter, I also grew up being a bit jumpy around her when it came to cleanliness. She is such a perfectionist about that, and I am really not. I keep things clean, but she keeps things SPARKLING! –So there was a bit of hand wringing before she came to make sure everything was in its place. She also brought her little old dog. This dog is absolutely precious… a little 15-year-old black and white shih tzu whose tongue is too long for her mouth, and so sticks out, she had to have an eye taken out about two years ago because she had glaucoma, and has about two teeth that meet in the back because she had to have a lot pulled. –But she’s really adorable. I’ll try to get a pic of her and put it up soon.

Anyway, enough of the rl stuff. –Not hardly interesting, huh? I need to get back in SL and have more adventures, don’t I? I’ll be seeing you soon, Sexies!!

So, it’s a Friday at work. I have work to do, yes, but I choose to write to you guys instead! Lucky you!!

I met a new level of “man” recently. He doesn’t qualify in any of the other categories, so I have to give him his own… he’s The Asshole. Yep, there’s just no other explanation for this particular person. –And the one I met is certainly not alone. They’re everywhere! I’m generally a very forgiving person, and hate to think ill of anyone, but this person… really… is just an asshole. You’ve heard the phrase “can’t take you anywhere”, right? Well, this is the kind of guy you say this about. I usually don’t pay any attention to this type when they show up where I am, or I tell them off if they step too far over the line. However, I have found one of them in my circle of friends recently. When they step out of the Asshole suit, they can be very friendly, but it’s hard to fight through the Asshole to get to it. –And even then, they usually snap out of it quickly and go back to being an asshole.

The problem with this type of person: They’re hard to get to know, and even harder to be friends with sometimes. You have to have a lot of patience to deal with them to be their friend. It’s very hard to get beyond their walls, so be prepared for that.

The benefit of this type of person: They’re definitely the person you want on your side in a fight.

To be fair: The female counter-part to The Asshole would, of course, be The Bitch. Both have very definitive opinions on what and how they think things should be, and tend to exhibit little tact in trying to get their point across.

What’s unfair? Girls get away with being The Bitch a bit easier than boys do being The Asshole. We can write it off on any number of things… least of all the dreaded PMS!!! (I’m certainly guilty of that.) Boys don’t have anything but testosterone keeping them in The Asshole category. And a lot of times, people are left wondering what The Asshole is trying to prove by being such a jerk. (What are they compensating for?!)

So… ok, while I’m tempted to quote an entire song here to please Giskard, I’ll refrain. :P Thanks for taking time out to read my ramblings!! *kisses to you all, my Lovelies!*

I hear that question so much when I’m asked by any male friend what I’m up to in SL. It’s true, we love it!!! You know, guys… it’s not as though there isn’t precedence. Women are, in general, very enthusiastic shoppers in rl… and in SL we have a good time... NO, an absolute responsibility to find the best deals on the best stuff we can. Incidentally, if you’re not sure where to look for these deals, be sure to check out Elle’s blog : http://secondspaces.wordpress.com/ . She often comments on deals for home décor and her awesome products, and she offers links and advice where she can. I also find it helpful to get on the update list for my favorite places. Another thing I find is you should always feel free to ask people where they got something if you like it. If they’re rude about it, who cares? At least you asked. I’m usually very flattered when people ask where I got something... because generally people aren’t asking because they want to stay AWAY from that location. If you see an avi you think is cool, check their picks, too. I recently got on a hair kick… for a little bit of a different look for my avi. I got tips to go to Detour (which is cool, but none of that hair looked right on my avi!), Analog Dog (where I found an adorable shoulder-length style I wear a LOT), and Cake by Stumbelina. I got a tip about eyelashes at Redgrave, and got some cool ones at Cake, too. (thank you, Carley!) I’ve found my favorite skin at Beauty Avatar. This blog isn’t particularly conducive to pictures, but I will try to get some different ones up. (It was a trade-off.. I could do pics on wordpress or voice posts on here… I chose voice posts!)

ANYWAY!!!! I totally didn’t plan for the whole blog to be about where to look for the cool stuff. Lol. Moving on: As I said in my voice post earlier today.. I GOT A JOB AT HOOTERS!!! ( http://hooterssecondlife.wordpress.com/ ) It’s such a fun place to dance. It’s also a REALLY fun place to hang out. If you haven’t been there, you really should check it out. Elle is very particular about the people she hires, and there’s a really good chance you’ll get groped by a hot chick or sexy guy. ;) Live DJs and dancers every night 4-6 & 6-8 SL. I look forward to seeing all of you there!

I’ve also been having fun at my other SL job, which is being a DJ at Shadow Realm. If you’re wondering when I work there, just IM me in-game. The schedule changes weekly, but I try to get in a few day gigs, as well as at least one in the evening.

I ALSO agreed to work for a friend of mine at a club called The Republic. I haven’t been able to commit to a time there just yet, though. I’ll update when I can!

In the spirit of the new year, so many people make resolutions. I have my personal resolutions for my rl, but I thought maybe I’d give my avi a few. I, Laryn Teardrop, resolve to find as many new friends as I can, and to take the time to make them feel special. I resolve to hold on to what’s important, and let everything else fall around it. I resolve to only buy an outfit/skin/hair if I *really* need it. ;) (I always *really* need it…) I resolve to fight for what’s important, and forget about what’s not. I resolve to work hard, play hard, and love hard (friends and beyond). –Not so different from my rl goals, actually.

Now for sappy reflections: I have ventured lightly into SL before, but never with a serious desire to play the game. This last time, in October, I had expected more of the same. However, it has been so different. I feel I found a niche for myself, and have been able to firmly establish my personality… and be accepted for who I am. I’m weird, witty, clever, and sarcastic… and I really feel like I found people who “get” me. Elle, Carley, Giskard, Abfab, Sav, Bobert, Mena…and ALL the HnS crew (as well as fellow VIPs!) has been a large part of that. Not to wax too poetic, but I am so glad I stumbled upon Gis (ho-ing himself out to The Rock), who led me to a bunch of people with crazy, outgoing personalities just like mine! I treasure the friendship I found with each of you, casual or deep, and thank you guys for being so incredibly cool. Cheers to 2009 and all the fun to come at HnS! I really never thought I would be happy in a game like SL, but you prove me wrong over and over!! (Honorable mention in this section has to go to Vende, my very best friend in the entire world. If not for you, life would be so boring!!)

With that out of the way, on to more of my Second Life! My DJing is going really well, except for the fact that I still haven’t resolved my mic issue. It’s only when I’m DJing, too! Any other time I use my mic, it’s fine. Grr! (Might be time to upgrade a few things on my computer… working with someone on that!) I also applied for my dream job!! I might get to work at Hooters & Shooters! I’ll update you on the status of that asap!

What did YOU do New Year’s Eve?! I’m not a big NYE person… I kinda think it’s totally overrated and people just use it as another excuse to drink themselves into a stupor… which is fine if that’s what you want. For my part, I stayed sober… and had SUCH a good time!! I DJed that night, feeling a little bad-ass bitchy, and had a lot of fun playing with the people in the club. Mic aside, I really have a great time DJing. My co-workers at Shadow Realm are a lot of fun, and I can always count on them to make me laugh. After that, I hung out there for a while, laughing with everyone, then headed over to the HnS party. I danced with all my fellow VIPs (particularly Sono, who joined me on my chim!), and finally agreed to make out with Elle (I had to build anticipation!!). I managed to make it until 2:30am Eastern, so I didn’t quite catch the official start of 2009 on SL, but I did respectably!

Clearly, I was feeling sappier than sarcastic today, so I’ll try to be funnier next time. ;) Cheers to YOU, and HAPPY NEW YEAR! *MUAH*!

Hey everyone!!! I was going to “manblog” about RP-ers, but I found I am unable, at this time, to really get my thoughts across. So, I’m trying another one. The PIMP! When I say “pimp”, I’m not just talking about the literal meaning, though those do exist in SL. I’m going a step further…

The Pimp is sometimes confused with The Casanova… because they usually have girls hanging around them. However, the Casanova prides himself on wooing and complimenting a lady. The Pimp…notsomuch. These guys are *usually* assholes (yep, generalizing). They come into SL wanting things THEIR way. –And if you won’t give it to them like that, they will move on to someone who will. (And they do find people who will allow it.) Do you detect a note of distaste on my part? Yep, I’m not big on anyone who feels it’s ok to use someone up like a tissue. –My personal feelings aside, these men are looking out for #1 (themselves). They generally have more than one paramour, and flaunt it. If you fall for this guy, remember who he prizes above all… it will help you understand his actions, and help you understand how to attract his attentions if you want them.

I will say I am NOT talking about Doms here. Doms and Pimps are different, if the Dom knows what He is really doing. If it’s a Dom who doesn’t truly understand how to be a Dom other than to humiliate a woman… they’re children playing an adult game. ;) Anyway… I don’t have a lot to say about The Pimp because it’s a genre I’m not a big fan of. If you’re a pimp and you’re reading this, perhaps consider that the world doesn’t revolve around you. ;)

I don’t play WoW much anymore. I haven’t stepped in there in a few weeks. So… what’ve I been up to? There have been so many delicious experiences to be had in SL. I know I’ve mentioned it already, but the player-based content in that game just floors me sometimes. I’ve been having a lot of fun exploring it. I’ve been surfing(thank you, Virgil!) and checked out more clubs. Oh, my, goodness, I’ve even started DJing at a club called Shadow Realm!!! I still spend a lot of time at Hooters & Shooters as, so far, it’s the best club I’ve found with the friendliest people. I have a feeling I will be seeing more and more clubs in the coming days, so stay tuned. I’m so looking forward to what other adventures SL has to offer. Bring. It. On.

Hello again, My Naughties! I let you stew a bit about the Newbs. How are you feeling? Sad, bereft? –A little bit vulnerable about the whole thing? Good deal, good deal. Let’s move on, shall we?

This is a category a LOT of SL men fall into… the smooth-talking, charming, handsome, sexy, and fun… Casanova!

The Casanova: Ah, the bountiful Casanova! They're everywhere because, well, they CAN be. -Everyone's hot in SL. And let's be honest ladies... we DO know it's an avatar, but if a guy is hot, it's WAY more fun to play with him. And if he's hot, you're NOT the only one hitting on him. Most of us make the mistake of thinking we're the only one he's talking to, and this couldn't be further from the truth.

If you happen to know and/or like one, if you just try to keep it casual, you’ll probably be ok. Something to keep in mind is: Yes, he’s intrigued by you, but no, you’re not the only one. (Yes, even *I* have a hard time with this one!) Keeping it casual with a Casanova will keep the relationship alive longer, if that’s what you want from him.

Ironically, I find most of the SL Casanovas don’t like to share. –They would hate it if one of their girls went out and started talking to someone else (no, that isn’t a challenge to not care to the Casanovas reading this. If you like us enough to be jealous, it’s a twisted validation for the girl in question. Lol). So, girls, you have to be willing to put up with a bit of unfairness there. Although, for some, Casanovas can be the easiest to walk away from when it comes to the end. (Even if that’s never been the case for Yours, Truly) You can kiss their cheek, thank them for a great time, and swallow your pride as you walk away, knowing damn well your spot will be filled very soon. He won’t necessarily LIKE that you left, but he’ll reel in someone else in no time. (Something to keep in mind if you’re considering getting close to one of these fellas.)

****A word of EMPOWERMENT to the ladies: Yes, he might make you feel replaceable… but let’s face it, so is he. (No offense to the male egos reading this, truly!!) And,  if he really does like you, he’s going to try to make you happy and hold on as long as you both are happy. If you can pinky-swear not to lie to one another, it can work. Bottom line, it’s up to you how much you want to take of him, and it’s up to him how much he’s willing to give to keep you happy and there with him. (Again, not a challenge to either party!! Merely an observation!)

**Sub-genre**

Pseudo-Casanova: This one exhibits MANY of the traits above, but can actually get emotionally attached to a girl (ok.. girlS) and tell her so. I stress that they exhibit so many traits of the Casanova himself because there’s hardly anything I said up there that doesn’t apply to him, as well. The Difference: This one probably chooses 2 or 3 of the girls in his acquaintance and spends most of his time talking to them, but still has a flock to tend. He’s just more focused on his “chosen few”. The Good: You really feel like this guy cares. The Bad: When he gets in Casanova mode, there is a bit of an ego to stroke that happens for him. The UGLY: Things can get “hinky” sometimes. Meaning, it’s not always fun watching him work all the girls in the room up into a tizzy, or learn that so-and-so, who you really like, had a one-night stand with him. -BUT you take that because it’s part of him and overall, these are really cool guys to get to know.

**Sub-genre**

Casanova Wanna-be: The title pretty much describes it all. Men, let me tell you… if you can’t string a coherent sentence together, you’re not a Casanova. A key to Casanova is smooth-talking charm. Also, when you borrow lines from others right after they said them… it’s noticed. Frequently, it’s butchered in the translation from ACTUAL Casanova to Wanna-be. For instance:

Casanova: “SexyDude123 saunters up to HotChick69, licking his lips as he peruses her body. When he reaches her, he dips her into a deep kiss, melding their tongues as his hands stroke her back. Thanks for the tip, babe.”

Wanna-be: “Dork123 walks up to HotChick69 and kisses her all over and does naughty things. Thank u for the awesome tip!”

Right. Ladies, which one? Specimen A..sexy and confident. Specimen B… awkward and vague. I choose A, but B is good for a laugh. We’ve all run into those who aren’t entirely sure what they’re doing when they step out as a dancer, or a host (want more references to dancers/djs/hosts? Check out secondlifeseriously.wordpress.com). I always appreciate a little action when I tip, but… B just makes me want to shower the slobber off. And, yes, for the record, I’ve totally seen girls do this, too!! (But that’s another blog!)

I feel I’ve been challenged by a fellow blogger: And I will pick up the gauntlet, my friend! This particular blogger has a “series” of things he blogs about. Comparisons, actually. He just finished up his blog about clubs/djs/dancers/vips. W.E! I’m going to blog about something that either annoys or amuses me: SL Men.

Oh, yes, I heard your collective male groans, there. What’s she going to say about us? Please continue… seriously (copyright), some of you REALLY need to read this... or you can point someone in my general direction who does. The Newb, the Casanova, the RPer, the Pimp, The Nerd. (Yep, every type-casting SL blog should have a newb slot.) Those are my catagories… I may add sub-catagories, but I think that covers the basics.

 The Newb: This is for the “true” newbs only. People who create alts know what they’re doing. It is ALWAYS fishy to me when someone claims that they’re new, but have a skin, hair, awesome clothes, and money to burn on their rez day. Granted, there are exceptions to every rule. (For more on this, check out secondlifeseriously.wordpress.com for Giskard Kessel’s blog)

Men, you should know this is the least attractive avi one can possibly have. I don’t just mean in males… female newbs are JUST as bad. It does take a certain finesse and understanding to create the avi just the way you want it. Hot chicks (and anyone else in the club), can spot the Newb immediately. If you are still in your Newb clothes and your Newb hair, with your Newb outfit and walking like there’s a stick up somewhere it shouldn’t be, I offer you the most sage advice I have: Do NOT… DO NOT try to talk to a woman in IM. If a woman IMs YOU in your newb skin, she’s desperate, and you probably don’t want her. You need to take the time to make yourself presentable. (It will increase your “Score!” level exponentially) *It takes a confident newb, but if you land in a club, take the time to watch the conversation, and add your own comments, you might find a sympathetic hot girl to help you out.*

What’s that mean? Hie thee off to a skins place, search the freebie bins for anything of use if you don’t have the money to devote to him. You CAN find stuff to get yourself at least to "Lesser Newb" status. And you can ask people for help, but don't really try to hit on anyone until you've gotten yourself together. DON’T move your muscle sliders all the way up. That is SO not hot. The men who pick up the chicks have taken the time to either get help from a friend (GIRL!) or observe the Casanova (more on that later).

Pervy Sub-Newb: He gets an honorable mention because he’s so special: This is the dewd who has figured out that he needs to do something to himself, so he’s gone to the newbie place and found a “whatever” skin, ugly hair, and bad jeans… sometimes a shirt… and thinks he’s totally ready. The pervy sub-newb will spend lindens on ONE thing only (and sometimes not even this!) *drumroll, please*… A penis. Dude’s hair is half off his head, he STILL has no AO, but wants to get himself some and figures that’s the way. Not only does he HAVE said appendage, he also expects to be able to USE it as soon as he drops into a SLex house. These are the guys who will IM a girl and say “Wanna?”. *silence* ………….. Holy CRAP, it's cold! 34 here! At least I'm going South for the Thanksgiving weekend. (To the heart of the Delta.)

I've recently discovered the sitcom "The Office". I knew about it before... I knew I loved Steve Carrell. I think I had even watched clips of it. Recently, however, I have had the opportunity, through the magic of Netflix (free plug!), to watch it on my computer when I'm bored. I have only gotten through the first season and half of the second so far (hello?! Busy!), and there has only been ONE episode I couldn't bear to watch all the way through because the character Steve Carrell plays was over-the-top asshole. (He's USUALLY an ass, but this was worse than normal.) My favorite hijinx in that show is watching Jim prank Dwight. Absolute hilarity. Anyway, just wanted that out in the open. I can move on now.

My Vende was able to log on to SL for a bit last night! "Happy" doesn't even begin to describe what I was to see her pixels. I MISS HER! I'm going through best friend withdrawls. She's been out-of-touch for about a week and will be for another two. Psht.. visiting her damn girlfriend! WhaaatEVER, Vende! (heh) Texting just isn't filling the void. Unfortunately, she was lagging and couldn't say much. Damnit. But, more importantly... she was THERE!

I didn't do anything in WoW yesterday... I think I needed a break from the monsters. Instead, I braved the monsters of SL! It was being a beast last night! I disconnected several times while dancing. (I blame you.) I also went to a club called Hooters n' Shooters, and it's a very friendly, fun place to hang out. I always like clubs that will give newcomers a chance to join in on the conversation. I did feel right at home with the personalities there. It was a great first impression. Other random topics of conversation circulating SL last night: Ego, Steam(er)Punk, virgins, Pandas, Spanking, hand jobs, humble, puddles, voices, skint*, shens*, Seriously (copyright), "love ya, mean it"... Big night, as you can tell.
